Department of Pharmacy holds Orientation program summer 2017

Orientation Program for Batch: summer 2017

The Department of Pharmacy recently organized a day-long Orientation program for its newly admitted B.Pharm.(Hons.) and M.Pharm. students of Summer 2017 Semester in the IQAC Conference Centre of the University at Banani, Dhaka. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Primeasia University, Professor Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He welcomed the newly enrolled students and thanked the guardians for keeping trust on Primeasia University. He advised the students to build their career to serve the nation.

Honorable Treasurer, Mr. A.K.M. Ashraful Haque, Honorable Registrar Mr. Abul Kashem Molla and the Honorable Dean, School of Science, Prof. Dr. A.N.M. Omar Faruque were present as Special Guests. Among others, Prof. Dr. A. H. M. Habibur Rahman, Dean, School of Business, Prof. Sk. Md. Hasanuzzaman, Dean, School of Engineering, Heads of different Departments, the Proctor, Alumni of the department and the newly admitted students of the Pharmacy department attended the program.

Ms. Taslima Begum, Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of the Orientation Program gave Vote of Thanks to all the Guests and participants.

Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani, Head of the Department of Phrmacy, chaired the occasion and delivered the Welcome address. While welcoming the Guests and the students he told the students that pharmacy is a professional course and the pharmacists have additional moral and legal responsibilities to the society. They have to be thoroughly honest, sincere, disciplined and committed to their profession. He also made the students aware of the University Rules and regulations which they should strictly abide by. The Honorable Chief Guest and the Special Guests also spoke on the occasion congratulating the students for choosing the Pharmacy Department of Primeasia University for Higher Studies. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Taslima Begum, an Assistant Professor of the Department.
