The Department of Pharmacy, Primeasia University, organized a webinar on the topic “Opportunities for Bangladeshi pharmacists abroad for Career Development” on Saturday, 14th August, 2021 at 10:00 AM. The webinar was Chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani, Chairperson of the Pharmacy Department, Primeasia University and hosted by Ms. Rubaba Karim, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, PAU. Dr. Golam Mezbah Uddin, a Post-Doctoral Associate (SHUTT Lab); ACHRI Fellow, CSM Scholar, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada, attended the Webinar as the Keynote speaker. Almost all the teachers, officers, staff and students of the Pharmacy Department attended the webinar.

The webinar session was inaugurated with a Welcome address by the department Chairperson, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani followed by an hour long presentation by the Keynote speaker. The Presentation was highly informative, elated with innovative suggestions and ideas. In order to motivate the students, Dr. Mezbah Uddin also mentioned his own academic journey that started from Bangladesh to build a successful research career as a scientist abroad.

The session was concluded with a Vote of thanks by Ms. Taslima Begum, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy. Primeasia University.
